Nic Capdevila

Nic Capdevila has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Nic started their career as a Guitar Teacher at Musicians Pro Shop from September 2007 to July 2013. In 2010, they joined The University of Iowa as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, where they worked on various software projects both independently and as part of a team. Nic later became a Graduate Researcher from August 2011 to January 2015.

In 2015, Nic joined Santos Human, Inc. as a Contract Software Engineer from April 2015 to August 2015. Nic then moved on to Rockbot, a social music platform for brick and mortar businesses. At Rockbot, they served as a Software Engineer focused on Android development from May 2015 to June 2017. Nic continued their journey at Rockbot, taking on the role of Senior Software Engineer from June 2017 to April 2020. Most recently, they became the Director of Engineering in April 2020, where they currently hold this position.

Nic Capdevila obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Iowa, between the years 2007 and 2011. Following that, Nic pursued further education at the same university and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Engineering from 2011 to 2014.
