Brendan Murphy is a Senior Ground Systems Engineer at Rocket Lab since November 2020, having progressed through various engineering roles within the company. Prior experience includes working as an Engineering Estimator at Hendl & Murray Engineering Ltd, focusing on stainless steel fabrication projects; as a Mechanical Engineer at Blackdog Steelworks Ltd, providing design and maintenance solutions; and briefly as a Film Extruder Machine Operator at Sealed Air Corporation. Brendan also served as a Design Verification Engineer at Mural Town Engineering Ltd, ensuring compliance for a new all-terrain platform, and completed a mechanical engineering internship at Winstone Pulp International Ltd. Brendan holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) with Honors in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Waikato, earned between 2012 and 2016.
