Christopher Lu is a Senior Development Engineer at Rocket Lab, specializing in the Neutron launch vehicle's in-tank devices, including the design of propellant tank baffles and management systems. With previous experience as a founding team member of the Electron Recovery Systems engineering team, Christopher contributed to the mechanical design of recovery systems. Earlier roles included Composite Structural Designer and Chassis Group Leader for the University of Auckland Formula SAE Team, where Christopher focused on geometric design for composite chassis structures. Christopher began the career as a Research and Development Engineering Intern at Core Builders Composites Limited, conducting research on resin systems' fire performance. Christopher holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Auckland.
