Christopher Rabotin is a seasoned aerospace engineer with extensive experience in guidance, navigation, and control systems, currently serving as a Senior Guidance, Navigation, and Controls Engineer at Rocket Lab since July 2022, focusing on the GNC development for the Firefly's Blue Ghost lunar lander. Previously, as an Astrodynamicist and software engineer at Nyx Space since January 2018, Christopher developed an open-source astrodynamics toolkit. Other notable roles include Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer at Masten Space Systems, leading the mission design for the XL-1 Lunar Lander, and Aerospace and Software Engineer at Advanced Space, where significant contributions were made to the Cislunar Autonomous Position System for the CAPSTONE mission. Christopher holds a Master of Science in Astrodynamics from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Science Engineering from ESIEE Paris.
