Daisuke Motooka

Daisuke Motokoa is a senior flight software engineer at Rocket Lab since July 2023. Prior to this role, Daisuke served as a software architect at ispace, inc. from September 2018 to July 2023, where responsibilities included leading software development and delivering moon lander flight software while engaging in mission operations. Daisuke also held the position of project manager at Hewlett-Packard from July 2014 to August 2018, and worked as an IT consultant/project manager at Sigmaxyz Inc. from August 2012 to July 2014. Earlier in the career, Daisuke was a member of the technical staff at Wind River from April 2007 to July 2012, focusing on RTOS/Linux kernel development. Daisuke holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Osaka University, obtained from 1994 to 1998.
