Diego Pinto

Diego Pinto is a skilled Thermofluids Analyst at Rocket Lab since March 2022, previously holding a similar position at Trumf where involvement in the Advanced Rare Isotope Laboratory (ARIEL) Project contributed to Canada’s advancements in various scientific fields. Prior to that, leadership as UBC Orbit Co-Captain involved managing a 60-member team in developing CubeSats for notable Canadian projects, while research experience at Laser Zentrum Hannover focused on optimizing advanced manufacturing processes. Earlier career roles included mechanical engineering co-op work at NORAM Engineering and experience as a Junior Mechanical Designer at Smith + Andersen, alongside educational credentials from the University of British Columbia, where a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Thermofluids was achieved.
