Dylan Schmidt

Dylan Schmidt is a seasoned aerospace engineer with extensive experience in assembly, integration, and testing within the aerospace sector. Currently serving as a Senior Assembly Integration and Test Engineer at Rocket Lab since August 2022, Dylan previously held several roles at Tyvak Nano-Satellite Systems, Inc. from February 2016 to August 2022, culminating in the position of Lead Space Vehicle Assembly and Integration Engineer. Early career experience includes working as an Assistant Transmission Mechanic at Sunland Transmission and participating in the UCLA Rocket Project, where Dylan served as Propulsion Manager and Internal Vice President, enhancing the aerospace community at UCLA. Dylan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from UCLA, obtained in 2015.
