Eamon Hughes

Eamon Hughes is a skilled aerospace engineering professional with extensive experience in propulsion and fluid systems development. Currently serving as the Manager of Propulsion & Fluids Systems at Rocket Lab since August 2022, Eamon oversees in-space propulsion projects and leads full-cycle development efforts. Previously held roles include Senior Propulsion and Fluids Systems Engineer at Rocket Lab, Senior Propulsion System Design Engineer at Sierra Nevada Corporation, and Propulsion Engineer IV at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, where Eamon developed subsystem requirements and managed engineering teams. Eamon also has foundational experience in quality assurance and construction project management, holding degrees in Aerospace Engineering Systems and Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and The Catholic University of America, respectively.
