Jacob Rendon

Jacob Rendon currently serves as Senior Director of Neutron Development at Rocket Lab, having joined the company in June 2022, following a tenure at Firefly Aerospace as Director of Fluid Systems. Prior experience includes several engineering roles at GE Aviation, where significant contributions included leading the development of turbine blades that achieved substantial cost reductions and enhancing engine component safety through extensive audits. Jacob also has experience as an English instructor and has completed multiple co-op positions within GE Aviation, where innovative projects improved design processes. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
