Jaiden Walmsley

Jaiden Walmsley is a Vehicle Design Engineer II at Rocket Lab, contributing to the development of the Neutron launch vehicle with a focus on composite design of pressurized structures and support for metallic components. Prior to this role, Jaiden worked at Seachange as a Mechanical Design Engineer, participating in the design of the world's first electric hydro-foiling ROPAX ferry. Experience also includes a tenure at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare as a Product Development Engineer, where responsibilities included commissioning production equipment and designing components for manufacturability. Jaiden served as Suspension Design Team Lead for the University of Auckland Formula SAE Team, overseeing suspension performance and team dynamics, and has held positions in both Race Engineering and suspension manufacturing. Early career experience includes working as a Production Operator at Autobend, operating CNC machinery and ensuring product quality. Educational background includes a degree from The University of Auckland and ongoing professional development in leadership and applied vehicle dynamics.
