Jim Norris

Jim Norris is a Chartered Engineer with extensive experience in aerospace engineering, currently serving as a Senior Engineer in Propulsion Development specializing in turbopumps at Rocket Lab since March 2021. Prior to this role, Jim worked at Reaction Engines as the Turbomachinery Mechanical Engineer and Design Lead, focusing on the helium circulator system for the SABRE hypersonic engine and gaining expertise in rotordynamics. Jim's career began in 2009 as an Undergraduate Design Engineer at Pall Corporation, progressing through various roles at ITP Aero, ultimately becoming a Senior Design and Integrity Engineer. Jim holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Aerospace Engineering from Swansea University, completed in 2012.
