Jonathan Choi

HITL Engineer II

Jonathan Choi is an experienced engineer with a diverse background in software and systems development. Jonathan began as a Beta Software Intern at Wicked Fun, Inc., where collaboration with developers focused on gameplay interface issues. At Duarte Lab, Jonathan contributed as a Lab Research Assistant, developing machine learning algorithms for data analysis. A subsequent internship at Elroy Air involved the creation of a Flight Analysis Tool, followed by a consulting role to further the project. As a Vehicle Development Engineer at Cobaltix, Jonathan leads teams in converting a 1968 Toyota FJ Cruiser to electric propulsion while gaining experience in CAN bus networking and autonomous systems. Jonathan's entrepreneurial spirit is evident as the co-founder of Tech Notes, where efforts aimed to digitize productivity through innovative technology. Recently, as a HITL Engineer I at Rocket Lab, Jonathan has taken the lead on spaceflight missions, enhancing integration testing processes. Jonathan is currently pursuing education at the University of California, Berkeley.
