Kim Thompson

Kim Thompson is a Structural Analyst at Rocket Lab since February 2023, previously serving as an Engineering Intern in Flight Operations at Dawn Aerospace. Kim's experience includes roles as a Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Auckland, and as a Mechanical Engineer at Koios. Additionally, Kim has held a Mechanical Engineering Intern position at Active Engineering and has an athletic background with High Performance Sport New Zealand. Early career also includes teaching music at Out Of Schools Music. Kim is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Auckland, having previously earned a Bachelor of Engineering in the same field from the same institution.
