Melissa Hailey

Melissa Hailey, Esq., SHRM-SCP, is the current Director of People & Culture at Rocket Lab, where they oversee various human resource initiatives. With a diverse legal background, Melissa previously served as Labor Counsel for FirstGroup America, negotiating collective bargaining agreements and providing labor relations guidance. They also worked as an Associate Attorney at Kephart Fisher LLC, specializing in commercial real estate and corporate law. Melissa began their career at Barbri Inc., where they supported law students and managed course administration. They hold a J.D. from Northern Kentucky University and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Psychology from The Ohio State University.
