Nathan Whiteside

Nathan Whiteside is an experienced Avionics Engineer currently with Helicopters Otago Ltd. since September 2023. Prior to this role, Nathan Whiteside has held multiple positions at Rocket Lab, starting as an Avionics Technician in August 2016, advancing to Senior Integrated Systems Technician in August 2019, and continuing in that position. Nathan Whiteside's career began with the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) from November 2010 to May 2016, where roles included managing Flight System Computer Navigation, performing maintenance on P3K-2 Orion avionics systems, and overseeing communication systems for various aircraft. Education included extensive training through RNZAF from 2007 to 2016 and completion of secondary education at South Otago High School from 2002 to 2006.
