Roman Miakinchenko

Roman Miakinchenko is a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Rocket Lab, currently building the Neutron Vehicle. With 11 years of experience in aerospace design and manufacturing, Roman has developed and tested aerospace structural components, focusing on metal and composite lightweight structures. Previously, Roman held roles as R&D Project Manager at Skyrora Ltd and Engineering Team Lead at Yuzhnoye State Design Office, where they oversaw engineering teams and project execution. Roman also served as Principal Design Engineer at Orbex, leading the development of launch vehicle structures. They earned a Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the Dnipro State Academy of Engineering and Architecture.
