Thomas Braun

Thomas Braun is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in automation and controls across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Automation and Controls Engineer at Rocket Lab since July 2025, Thomas previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at KLA from September 2020 to August 2025. Prior roles include Control Systems Engineer for Tunnel Construction at Frontier-Kemper Constructors, Inc. and Manufacturing Systems Engineer at MillerCoors. With a strong foundation in control systems from roles at Grifols and Cameron, Thomas has demonstrated expertise in both pharmaceutical production automation and turbomachinery. Thomas holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo, complemented by graduate-level coursework in control system design and automation.
