Will Blalock

Will Blalock is an experienced mechanical engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, earned in 2019. Currently serving as a Spacecraft Mechanical Engineer II at Rocket Lab since May 2024, Will has previously held the position of Starship Mechanical Engineer II at SpaceX from August 2022 to January 2024. Prior to that, Will worked at ASML from July 2019 to August 2022, serving in roles such as MDEV Reticle Interface Architect, Lead Mechanical Design Engineer, and Mechanical Design Engineer. Will also demonstrated leadership as the Payload Team Lead for the 49er Rocketry Team during the NASA University Student Launch Initiative from August 2018 to May 2019.
