Matt Schofield

Matt Schofield has extensive experience in the creative industry, starting in 1997 as a self-employed artist. Matt has held various roles in different companies, including Head of Creative at Rocket Science VFX since December 2022 and Head of Creative Operations at Moving Picture Company from January to November 2022. Prior to that, they were Head of Creative Operations - Toronto at Mr. X, where they also served as a DFX Supervisor and Head of Department - 3DDMP. Additionally, they worked as a Production Designer and Matte Painter at C.O.R.E. Feature Animation, Matte Painter at Framestore CFC, Lead Matte Painter at C.O.R.E. Feature Animation and C.O.R.E., and Matte Painter at Vanguard Animation UK Limited and Rocket Science VFX.

Matt Schofield attended Ontario College of Art from 1992 to 1997, where they pursued their degree in OCAD Honours with a focus on Drawing and Painting. Following this, from 1998 to 2000, they attended McMaster University and received a BFA Hons in Fine Arts.
