Scott Sargent is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend service development and e-commerce solutions. Currently a Senior Software Engineer at Rocket Science since March 2023, Scott collaborates with game studios to implement best practices and develop game scale services. Prior to this role, Scott served at Jahnel Group, where responsibilities included the design and maintenance of backend services for a AAA game publisher, and participated in troubleshooting live game services. Scott’s career also includes significant roles at Dynamicweb NA, Paylocity, DevResults, OrcsWeb, Telligent Systems, and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, demonstrating a robust history in software development and consulting across various industries. Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Science from the University at Albany and has an academic background in Business Information Systems from the University of Vermont.
