Justin Pakes

Director Customer Experience at Rocketgenius

Justin Pakes has worked in various managerial roles since 1991. Starting at Alcatel Australia Ltd, they have held roles such as Systems Manager, Marketing Manager and Quality Manager. In 1999, they were brought to the US by Decipher, Inc. to manage the rules and worldwide tournament structure for their Star Wars CCG property. Justin also contributed to other trading card games such as Jedi Knights, Young Jedi, Austin Powers, MegaMan and the Wars TCG. In 2001, they were promoted to Information Services Director and then to Director of Fan Clubs and Online Stores. In 2005, they joined Channel Blade Technologies as Production & Data Director, where they were responsible for the aggregation, processing and integration of industry specific data. In 2015, they worked as a Solution Developer at Tap26 Wines On Tap, providing design and development effort to launch a customized inventory management system. Justin then joined FASTER Asset Management Solutions as Development Supervisor & Project Manager, helping to rework development processes and systems. Finally, in 2016 they joined Rocketgenius, Inc. as Director Customer Experience and Project and Process Manager.

Justin Pakes attended Marist Brothers Parramatta from 1986 until 1987. Justin then attended the University of New South Wales (UNSW) from 1987 until 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical Engineering, with a focus in Computer Engineering and Communications.
