Charles Chen

Charles Chen began their career in 2012 as a Student Graphic Designer at Housatonic Community College. Charles then worked as a Graphic Designer/Illustrator at CloudX Inc. in the same year. In 2013, they became a Design Intern at TFI Envision, Inc. and in 2015, they were hired as a UI/UX Designer at The New Office, Inc. (TNO). In 2016, Charles joined Ixia as a Designer and in 2017, they were acquired by Keysight Technologies, where they continued to work as a Designer. Currently, Charles works as a UX Lead at RocketReach.co, specializing in UI/UX design, branding, and motion graphics. Charles believes that good UX design should be straightforward, intuitive, and kind.

Charles Chen attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2010 to 2011, studying Materials Engineering. Charles then went on to Housatonic Community College from 2011 to 2013, earning an Associate's degree in Graphic Design. Finally, they completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design from 2013 to 2015.
