Simon Brown has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Simon is currently working as a Project Lead at RocketWerkz, where they oversee the development of Stationeers and manages the project timeline. Simon has been with RocketWerkz for four years and has made significant contributions to the project.
Prior to RocketWerkz, Simon worked as a Frontend/Unity Developer at Blackout Games and as a Private Contractor for their own business. Simon also worked as a .NET Developer (Contract) at HealthShare Limited and Enlighten Designs.
Simon's early experience includes working as a Game Developer at RocketWerkz, a Full Stack Developer at Project 42, and serving as the Vice President of the Computer Science Student Society at the University of Waikato. In their role as Vice President, Simon coordinated and organized social and networking events for computer science students, providing opportunities for interaction between students and industry professionals.
Simon Brown attended The University of Waikato from 2012 to 2016, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science.

Founded by Dean Hall, creator of hit survival game DayZ, we are independently-run with creative control but have the backing of one of the world's largest games companies. We also have a studio in Dunedin, on New Zealand's beautiful South Island. We're independent, ambitious, focus on deep PC gaming experiences and have roles for artists, modelers, environment builders, programmers, devops and more.
