Joy Johnson

Joy Johnson has been working in the creative industry since 2002. Joy began their career as a Graphic Designer and Assistant to the Executive Vice President at Harmonic Inc. In 2007, they moved to BlogHer as a Senior Designer. In 2011, they began freelancing as a Visual Email Designer and Developer for Greater Than AIDS. In 2012, they began freelancing as a Developer for Sequence. In 2018, they became Creative Director at Penske Media Corporation and SaaStr. In 2019, they became Creative Director and Consultant for Rocksbox and Founder and Creative Director of Joy Creative Studio. In 2020, they began working as an Instructor at barre3.

Joy Johnson attended Academy of Art University, where they obtained their BFA in Web Design + New Media. Joy also attended Santa Clara University, where they studied Art History and Studio Art.
