Marcel Postema

Marcel Postema is the founder of Rise, a network of independent consultants specializing in strategy, innovation, and sustainability, since February 2023. Marcel has served as a mentor in Smart Energy at Rockstart since April 2015 and held managerial positions at Alliander from February 2019 to February 2023, leading strategic innovation and corporate strategy initiatives focused on new energy markets and business models. Previously, Marcel was the Head of Energy Consulting NL at Hedera Consulting, overseeing significant digital transformations and business strategies for top Dutch utilities. Prior experience includes a managerial role in strategy consulting at Accenture, focusing on the resources industry, and conducting research in corporate sustainability strategy at Radboud University Nijmegen. Marcel holds multiple degrees in business administration, including an MBA from Radboud University and executive education from INSEAD.
