Rafael (Raf) Koene is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in the energy and climate tech sectors. As the founder and owner of Inzuzo b.v. since April 2014, Rafael provides consulting services to startups and venture capitalists. Rafael currently serves as a member of Rockstart's Investment Committee, focusing on early-stage tech startups that facilitate the energy transition, and as a board member for HeatTransformers, a leading Dutch heat-pump company. Previously, Rafael managed the EnergiiQ fund, a €35 million venture capital fund supporting climate tech startups, and co-founded the €100 million ETF-R fund. A former CCO/CFO at Senfal, which was acquired by Vattenfall, Rafael held leadership roles at RWE and SET Ventures, contributing to several venture capital initiatives and corporate ventures.
