Scott Gilley

Scott Gilley began their career in 2021 as a Front End Development Intern at Tyler Technologies. Scott maintained and built web-based applications for public sector software, using HTML/CSS, Typescript, Angular, and working extensively with JSON data. In 2022, they moved to RockStep Solutions, where they held two roles: Software Verification Engineer I and Junior Software Engineer. As a Software Verification Engineer I, they tested and verified the integrity of recently-written code in an SQA capacity using both manual and automated testing, and tested and developed API solutions using Postman and Swagger. As a Junior Software Engineer, they helped revolutionize drug discovery with a cloud informatics platform for managing data and operations, and efficiently documented SQA process using Azure DevOps.

Scott Gilley obtained an Associate of Arts degree from the University of Maine at Presque Isle between 2014 and 2018, with a concentration in Liberal Studies, Mathematics and Science. In 2021, they obtained a Social and Behavioral Research - Basic/Refresher certification from the CITI Program, A Division of BRANY. Scott is currently enrolled in The Open University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics, which they are expected to complete in 2024.
