Mitra Azizian

Mitra Azizian is a seasoned geoscience software developer currently employed at Rockware Incorporated since November 2024. Previously, Mitra has served in various roles including well-site geologist and geo-steerer at Terra Guidance, LLC from September 2022 to July 2024, and as a petroleum engineer at MI3 Petroleum in 2019, where decline curve analysis for wells in Utah was conducted. Early experience includes work as a geoscientist at Terra Chem Lab, with a focus on petrophysics and seismic interpretation, and internships at Denbury Resources, Surtek, Inc., and Norwest Questa Engineering Corporation, where valuable skills in seismic data modeling, reservoir engineering, and production optimization were developed. Mitra holds a PhD in Geophysics and Seismology from Colorado School of Mines and has advanced degrees in Petroleum Engineering and Petroleum Exploration from the same institution and the University of Tehran, respectively.
