Lars Naerum

Lars Naerum has extensive work experience in the research and development field, with a particular focus on polymer development and implementation. Lars started their career as a Synthetic Chemist at Ferrosan A/S in 1987 and later worked as a Research Scientist at Novo Nordisk from 1990 to 2002. Lars then joined Combio A/S as a Project Leader and Senior Computational Chemist in 2002 before moving on to Arpida as a Department Manager in 2003. Lars joined ROCKWOOL Group in 2007 and held various roles including R&D Project Leader, R&D Section Manager, R&D Chief Engineer, R&D Senior Project Manager, and R&D Section Manager in different periods from 2007 to 2021. From 2022 to 2023, they served as a Portfolio Manager and Portfolio Director in the Binder & Systems Division Development.

Lars Naerum obtained their Ph.D in Chemistry from an undisclosed institution between 1990 and 1993. Prior to that, they completed their M.Sc in Chemistry at DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 1981 to 1987.
