Ron Pickering

Ron Pickering has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Ron began their career as a Teaching Assistant at Arizona State University in 1985. After that, they served as an Army Officer in the Malaysian Ministry of Defense from 1987 to 1990. From 1990 to 1991, they worked as a Technical Sales Executive for Precast Micro Injection Piles.

In 1991, Ron joined ZenBes and held various positions such as Project Engineer, Sales Engineer, Branch Manager, and Manager. Following this, they worked at Eastern Partek as a Sales & Marketing Manager in 1996.

From 1997 to 2006, Ron had a significant tenure at CSR Building Materials Malaysia, where they held multiple positions including Sales Manager, Marketing Manager, and General Manager. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at CSR Building Materials HK as the Regional Head of Marketing and Export.

Since 2011, Ron has been working at ROCKWOOL as the Business Director, with a primary focus on driving growth in China. Ron'sresponsibilities include overseeing the execution of business plans, building a sales and marketing organization, and achieving agreed targets.

Ron Pickering received their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Arizona State University, where they attended from 1981 to 1986. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at St John's Institution Kuala Lumpur from 1975 to 1981.
