Luke Rhine has extensive experience in education and leadership, having served as the Acting Assistant Secretary for the U.S. Department of Education from 2022 to 2025. Prior to that role, Luke was the Director of Career & Technical Education and STEM Initiatives at the Delaware Department of Education from 2014 to 2022. Luke also held positions as an Associate Secretary in the Delaware Department of Education and as a Program Specialist for the Maryland State Department of Education. Currently, Luke is the Vice President at Rodel while previously teaching at Lakeside Middle School and Reservoir High School. Luke earned a Master of Arts in Instructional Technology from Stockton University and a Bachelor of Science in Technology Education from PennWest California.
