Devin Kopp has a diverse work experience in several companies and roles. Devin is currently serving as the Co-founder and CTO at Rodeo since January 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at Oasis from October 2021 to January 2022.
Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Devin worked at Amazon as a Software Engineer from September 2019 to October 2021. During their tenure, they contributed to the Amazon Search Knowledge Team, creating automated onboarding, dataset validation, and customer feedback systems for the search widget vending service. Devin also designed and implemented scaling solutions to increase the update speed of the search widget vending service. Additionally, Devin worked in the AWS Team, where they developed a user roles permissions system, user preferences frontend and backend, and a full-stack activity history feature.
Devin gained valuable research and teaching experience at The George Washington University. Devin served as a Computer Vision Research Assistant from January 2018 to May 2019, a Software Engineering Teaching Assistant from August 2017 to May 2019, and a Computer Science Tutor from September 2016 to December 2017.
Furthermore, Devin had internship experiences at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer Intern in the summer of 2018 and at the State of New Jersey as a Software Engineering Intern in June and July 2017. At the State of New Jersey, they created automated wage entry software, developed a front-end application, and cataloged software functionalities for updates.
Prior to their professional career, Devin worked as a Summer Camp Counselor at Rambling Pines Day Camp from June 2013 to August 2016.
Devin Kopp attended The George Washington University from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
