John Ball is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor, recognized as the Founder and Managing Partner of Steamboat Ventures since September 2000. In addition to this role, John serves as Co-Founder and Chairman of Roebuck Estates, a premium English sparkling wines brand, since January 2016, and holds the position of Board Trustee Emeritus at Tufts University since November 2018. John Ball’s extensive experience includes serving as a Board Member at GoPro from 2011 to June 2014 and as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Mergers & Acquisitions at The Walt Disney Company from 1996 to 2000. John also held the role of Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at URS Corporation from 1992 to 1996. John Ball earned an MBA from Harvard Business School from 1989 to 1991 and a BA in Biological Sciences from Tufts University from 1983 to 1986.
