Markus Maier

Markus Maier is an experienced professional in the chemical engineering field with a diverse background in project management, plant operations, and process engineering. Currently serving as Project Responsible for the LiMA Project and Assistant Plant Manager at Röhm since August 2019, Markus has also held positions as Plant and Process Engineer at Röhm and Evonik, and as Assistant Plant Manager for C4 Refining. Prior experience includes scientific project work at Fraunhofer UMSICHT and roles in sales and quality assurance at ace Apparatebau construction & engineering GmbH. Markus has an extensive educational background, holding a Dr.-Ing. in High-Pressure Process Engineering from Ruhr University Bochum, a Dipl. Ing. in Process Engineering from Technische Universität Graz, and additional qualifications in Chinese Language and Chemical Engineering. Early career experience includes serving in the Austrian Armed Forces and academic support roles at Graz University of Technology.
