John Burns

John Burns is a Manager of Leadership Development at Rogers Communications, where they have worked since 2013 as part of the corporate Organizational Development team, collaborating with colleagues and HR partners to create leadership programs for managers. Previously, John was a Senior Learning & Leadership Consultant at Canadian Tire from 2003 to 2012, and an Independent Learning Consultant for various clients including KPMG and Aetna between 1997 and 2003. John also served as the Manager of Training & Development at the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board from 1985 to 1997. They hold an M.A. in Learning & Technology from Royal Roads University, completed in 2003.
