Simon Hofmann has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Simon is currently employed as the Head of the Maintenance Department at Rohrdorfer. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Manager at Bauer-Verfahrenstechnik GmbH, where they successfully delivered plants to customers globally and implemented ISO compliance measures. Their previous experience includes roles as a Master Student at BMW Group, where they researched AI applications in manufacturing, and as a Student Trainee at MTU Aero Engines and the Institut für Werkzeugmaschinen und Betriebswissenschaften. Simon also gained valuable experience as an Intern at Airbus Defence and Space and Wolfgang Kirner Schlosserei-Metallbau, and served as a Private First Class in the Bundeswehr.
Simon Hofmann completed their education at the Technical University of Munich. Simon obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering and Management from 2011 to 2015. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2015 to 2017.
