John Burns

John Burns has extensive experience in various roles focused on youth social work, resident support, and service industries. Currently serving as a Saw Operator at Oilfield Steel Supply LLC since January 2024, John has concurrently worked as a Youth Social Worker at Samaritas since November 2016, and as a Resident Technician at Residential Options, Inc. since April 2011. Additionally, John has a long-standing role as Team Leader at Youth Haven, promoting a positive camp experience for children aged 6-11. Earlier positions include Grill Cook at Bob Evans Restaurant, Cabin Leader at Camp Beechpoint, Delivery Driver at Domino's Pizza, and Landscape Assistant at Yardbirds Complete Lawn Services. Academically, John holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Michigan State University, alongside a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education/Math from Grand Canyon University, complemented by studies at Lansing Community College.
