Tom Cook

Tom Cook, SHRM-SCP, has extensive work experience in human resources. Tom is currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at ROI Solutions. Prior to this, they worked as a Human Resources Consultant at Catalyst Acoustics Group, where they assessed HR processes and merged companies into one HR solution. Before that, they were the Human Resources Manager at SilverRail, responsible for the HR operations of the U.S. branch. Tom also held various roles at Erickson Living, including Human Resources Manager and Volunteer Programs Coordinator. Tom began their career as the Director of Volunteers and Family Programs at Special Olympics Massachusetts.

Tom Cook, SHRM-SCP, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Management from Arizona State University, where they majored in NonProfit Management. Tom completed their undergraduate studies from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their degree, Cook has obtained various certifications throughout their career. These include the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from the Society for Human Resource Management, which they obtained in July 2015. Tom is also certified as a Nonprofit Professional (CNP) by the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance, although the exact date of this certification is unknown. Finally, Cook holds a Professional in Human Resources certification from the HR Certification Institute.
