John Opiola

John Opiola has extensive work experience in the training and development field. John began their career at Learning Tree International, where they worked in various roles including Corporate Sales Account Coordinator and Project Manager. During their time at Learning Tree International, John was responsible for the development and management of IT training courses, certification programs, and college accreditation reviews. John also led development teams, conducted training needs analysis, and managed the department's IT infrastructure.

In 2012, John joined Management Concepts as the Director of Product Management, where they oversaw the strategic planning and execution of the Financial, Program, and Project Management Training divisions. John managed a team of product developers, instructional designers, editors, and consultants, resulting in the delivery of new products and revisions that generated $8 million in revenue.

From 2014 to 2017, John worked at Omega Performance, first as the Director of Design and Development and later as the Chief Sales Officer. In their role as Director of Design and Development, they led the development of credit training solutions for various product lines, successfully converting instructor-led content to blended learning solutions that increased profit margins. As Chief Sales Officer, they collaborated with banking and financial institutions to provide training solutions and led a global sales team that increased annual revenue by 28%.

Most recently, John joined ROI Training in 2017 as the Director of Global Programs. In this role, they are responsible for the implementation of global training programs.

Throughout their career, John Opiola has demonstrated their expertise in instructional design, product management, and sales. John has consistently driven revenue growth and implemented effective training solutions to support organizational goals.

John Opiola completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Mathematics from the University of Mary Washington (Fredericksburg, VA) from 1991 to 1995. Before that, they attended South Lakes High School (Reston, VA) from 1989 to 1991. Prior to their time at South Lakes High School, John also attended Amador High School (Pleasanton, CA) from 1988 to 1989.
