Can ÜNAL is a Research and Development Engineer at Roketsan since July 2023, focusing on the R-FORCE project. Previously, Can served as a TUBITAK 2209-B Project Researcher at TÜBİTAK from March 2023 to September 2024, specializing in the production of ferritic ceramic particles for aerospace coatings. Can has experience as a Technology Development Engineer at Turkish Aerospace in the Functional Coatings and Transparencies Technology Center and has managed a graduation project on the same topic. Additional internships include roles at Mercedes-Benz Türk A.Ş. as an R&D Intern and Trinox Metal as a Quality Assurance Intern. Can is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Istanbul Technical University, after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from both Istanbul Technical University and VSB - Technical University of Ostrava, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.
