David Winograd

David Winograd has a strong background in software engineering and development. David is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Rokfin, starting in 2023. Prior to that, David worked at Ophelia as a Software Engineer from July 2022 to January 2023. David was a founding member of the Platform Experience team and played a significant role in maintaining and enhancing core infrastructure. David also refactored a large portion of the codebase from Javascript to TypeScript.

Before Ophelia, David worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Rokfin in 2021. During this time, they redesigned the user onboarding experience in React.js, implementing features that improve user engagement and browsing capabilities. In 2020, David gained experience as a Web Development Intern at The Gallery Residential Brokerage. David developed an event-driven application using Node.js and the Airtable API to automate document timelines and send notification emails to clients.

Further back in their career, David had a Software Development Internship at Bentley Systems in 2019. Here, they conducted performance assessments and renovated the company wiki using Python scripts for automation. In 2017, David worked as an Engineering Intern at Nokia Bell Labs. Additionally, they gained customer service experience as a Lifeguard at the YMCA of Greater New York from 2016 to 2017.

David Winograd attended High Technology High School from 2014 to 2018. During their time there, they earned recognition for attending the "#1 STEM High School in the Nation" as ranked by U.S. News. Following their high school education, David enrolled at Columbia University in 2018. David pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Their expected graduation year is 2022.
