Chris Handman

Chris Handman is Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Roku, where he leads the Legal and Government Relations organization. Chris joined Roku in October 2025, bringing over two decades of legal leadership experience at fast-growing technology companies. Most recently, Chris served as General Counsel at Rippling. Prior to that, he was Co-Founder and COO of TerraTrue, and served as General Counsel for Snap Inc., where he guided the company through its IPO. Earlier in his career, Chris was a partner in the Supreme Court and appellate practice at Hogan Lovells LLP. He holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies and political science from the American University, Washington, D.C., and a J.D. from Yale Law School.
