Jaydeep Patel

Jaydeep Patel is a Senior Software Engineer at Roku since February 2023, with previous experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Roku Inc. in 2022, where work focused on BrightScript, Scenegraph for The Roku Channel UI, and playback implementations. Prior to Roku, Jaydeep served as a Software Engineer III at Walmart Global Tech, contributing to the ASDA payments platform utilizing technologies such as SpringBoot and Kafka. At Fidelity Investments, as a Software Engineer, Jaydeep developed Java-based SpringBoot APIs, maintained integrations with SQL databases, and became a Subject Matter Expert for four applications in production. Jaydeep’s early career includes summer trainee positions at Damodar Valley Corporation and NTPC, focusing on power generation and transmission systems. Jaydeep holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute Of Technology.
