Margret Schmidt

Margret Schmidt is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in user experience and product management. Currently serving as Vice President of User Experience at Roku Inc. since August 2020, Margret leads a team of up to 130 UX specialists across various domains. Margret is also a Professional Coach at UX Sounding Board LLC. Previously, Margret held significant positions at Google as Senior Director of Product Management & User Experience and at Intuit as Vice President of Product Development. Margret's career includes a lengthy tenure at TiVo, where roles spanned from Director of User Experience to Chief Design Officer, overseeing large cross-functional teams and major product redesigns. Margret has also contributed as an Industry Faculty member at the University of California, Berkeley, and has advised Quid on UX design. Margret holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
