Paul Johnstone

Paul Johnstone is a British-born, California-based director and designer with over twenty years of experience in storytelling and problem-solving across entertainment, brand, advertising, art, and technology. They have held notable roles such as Creative Director at Roku Inc., where they led the creative development of high-profile projects, and Art Director at Apple, contributing to international promotional campaigns for major media products. As a co-founder of Monterey Design and later Creative Director at OTMentertain, they specialized in creating impactful film campaigns and brand strategies. Currently, Paul serves as Design Director at Roku, leading a team focused on immersive content and brand narratives, while also directing the creative vision for the Poppy Jasper International Film Festival. Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Arts & Design from Leeds Metropolitan University.
