Mitch Fernandez is a U.S. Army Veteran and a Senior Director of AI Transformation with over 25 years of experience at the intersection of AI, technology, and business strategy. Currently, Mitch fulfills the role of Director of Strategic Initiatives and Project Delivery at RoleModel Software, where they enhance project management standards and drive team collaboration. Previously, Mitch served as Chief Technology Officer at BioViva Sciences, leading a strategic pivot toward bioinformatics and data analytics. Mitch also contributed as a Policy Hacker with Lincoln Network, where they authored reports to inform technology policy leaders. They are pursuing a Master's degree in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from the University of Michigan Medical School while holding a Bachelor's degree from Florida International University.
