Markus Hjort

Markus Hjort started their work experience in 1998 as a Software Developer at Gui Systems, where they worked until December 2001. In 2002, they worked as a Software Developer at Frends Technology Inc. and then moved on to Accenture Technology Solutions as a Software Developer from June 2002 to August 2004.

From September 2004 to September 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer at Reaktor Innovations. In 2015, Markus joined Adtile Technologies as a Software Developer and worked there until May 2017. Markus then took on the role of Senior Server Engineer at Armada Interactive from May 2017 to February 2018.

In February 2018, Markus became the Head of Engineering at Tomorrow Tech and also worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Digitaalinen asuntokauppa DIAS from August 2018 to July 2022. Currently, they are working at Roleverse as a Lead Backend Engineer and is a Co-Founder of the company since July 2022.

Markus Hjort completed their M.Sc. in Information Technology at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 1998 to 2004. Prior to that, they attended The Normal Lyceum of Helsinki from 1995 to 1997, although the degree obtained and field of study are not specified. Markus also holds three certifications in "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" from Coursera, which were obtained in May 2013.
