Jamil Elias

Jamil Elias, PhD, currently serves as the Industrialization Section Manager at ROLEX, a position held since November 2012, with previous roles including Industrialization Team Manager, Production Team Manager, and Process Engineer & Project Manager. Prior experience includes a tenure at EMPA from October 2008 to October 2012 as a Scientist and Project Manager, where Jamil was responsible for overseeing projects funded by the European Commission, Industries CTI, and SFOE, as well as supervising academic students. Jamil's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry and Materials Science from the University of Paris XII (2005-2008) and multiple Master's degrees in Processes & Environmental Engineering and Electrochemical Processes, along with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Lebanese University (1999-2003).
