Prior to this role, Thomas worked as R&D Project Manager at Manufacture des Montres Rolex SA from August 2007 to June 2011. There was also a period as a consultant in management systems for various companies from February 2007 to July 2007. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Materials and Processes from EPFL, where Thomas studied from 2002 to 2007, and secondary education at Lycée Militaire d'Aix-en-Provence from 1991 to 1994.
