Yannick Bastin

Yannick Bastin is an experienced engineer specializing in research and development within the watchmaking industry. Currently serving as an Ingénieur R&D at ROLEX since February 2021, Yannick previously held the position of Ingénieur Laboratoire horloger R&D at Montres Breguet SA from March 2016 to October 2019, where responsibilities included project coordination, technical testing, pre-industrialization, and communication across various manufacturing sectors. Prior experience includes roles as an Assistant Doctor at Patek Philippe, a Product Introduction Logistics Engineer at Bombardier Transportation, and a trainee at Bobst SA. Yannick holds a Master’s degree in Mechanics from EPFL, completed in 2011.
